At W. & I. Craig, we take a responsible attitude towards the environment and sustainability, We continually audit and survey our systems of work, our material usage, and thrive to ensure that we provide and maintain our high quality of service, whilst limiting waste, pollution and damage to the environment.

We will review our activities and operations to identify environmental impacts and priorities action to reduce and minimise them.

All of our vehicles are Euro 4 rated, meaning we comply with London's Low Emission Zone.

Our objectives are to;

• Set challenging environmental targets, reduce energy and resource consumption, minimise the amount of waste we generate and minimise the use of harmful materials and prevent pollution.
• Operate an effective Environmental Management System and pursue continue improvement through our internal audit and management review programmes.
• Maintain a high level of awareness of sustainability issues amongst our employees and integrate environmental management into training.
• Meet or exceed all relevant UK, European and international legislative and regulatory requirements and agreements.
• Ensure that goods and services procured support our sustainable code of conduct and in turn encourage our suppliers and contractors to improve their own environmental performance.
• Reduce the greenhouse gas emissions from our business travel and company offices.
• Promote, encourage and adopt best practices and sustainable initiatives, and increased biodiversity in all our sub-contracts.
• Monitor progress against targets, reduce our ecological footprint and produce an annual Environmental Report.
• Provide staff and management with training and information on environmental management and sustainability.
• Ensure that all environmental risks which arise from our works are assessed, managed and controlled.
